How to Use Your New Cursor
Follow these simple steps to set your new cursor in Windows:
- Save the File: When you download the
.curfile, save it to a location you'll remember (like your Documents folder). Windows needs to be able to find this file permanently, so don't save it in a temporary folder. - Open Mouse Settings: Open the Start Menu and search for "Mouse settings". Open it.
- Go to Pointer Options: In the Mouse settings window, click on "Additional mouse options". This will open a new "Mouse Properties" window. Go to the "Pointers" tab.
- Select and Browse: In the "Customize" list, select "Normal Select". Click the "Browse..." button.
- Apply Your Cursor: Navigate to where you saved your
.curfile, select it, and click "Open". - Save Your Changes: Click "Apply" and then "OK". Your new cursor is now active!
